Today, we are served by a dedicated medical staff along with our team of skilled, compassionate nurses and support staff. Together they use an impressive array of technology to provide the care for every patient who chooses Bert Fish for their healthcare needs.
Our surgical services span the spectrum from general procedures to orthopedic and laparoscopic (minimally invasive), with more and more procedures performed on an outpatient basis. The Regional Oncology Center, Intensive Care, and a very busy Bert Fish Emergency Room are well-known. The community is fortunate to have a fine Physical and Rehabilitative Therapy Program at Bert Fish.
I am frequently reminded that the hospital I serve provides a tremendous “service” to the community. We have over 700 people who help to provide hospital, rehabilitation and wellness services to this community. We make sick people well, mend broken bones and use surgery to improve the lives of people in the Southeast Volusia County everyday. I am proud of the job our associates do.
