Laboratory Services

The Bert Fish Medical Center Laboratory Services offer several services including bacteriology, chemistry, diagnostic immunology, hematology, immunohematology, mycobacteriology, mycology, parasitology, pathology and virology.  These services help citizens and visitors of Southeast Volusia County including inpatients, outpatients, oncology patients, hospice and home health care patients, those suffering from emergent, acute or chronic illnesses, to name a few.                    

Hours/Days of Service:
Inpatients and Emergent Outpatients      
24 Hours per Day, 7 Days per Week,     365 Days per Year

Routine Outpatients
Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Saturday 7:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Closed Sunday and major holidays

Pathology Services
Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Additional hours upon request.
